This elixir is made with permission using Arielle de Martinez's method. Her method utilizes alcohol, heat, and water to extract all the beneficial constituents from Turkey Tail. A mushroom supplement should be heated in order to release all the beneficial polysaccharides.
This elixir contains alcohol, reverse osmosis water, raw honey, and non-GMO, food-grade, palm-derived glycerin. The reverse osmosis water is "hungry" and seeks out minerals, pulling beneficial goodness from the mushrooms. The honey adds a touch of sweetness and medicinal qualities, and the small amount of glycerin helps to suspend turkey tail so each dose is a balanced one. The alcohol is necessary for one of the extraction parts, but in the final dose, it is a balanced amount of alcohol, water, honey, and glycerin.
