Sunshine Salve

This all-purpose salve can is filled with skin-supportive resins and herbs that may soothe rashes, help heal scars, support wound-healing, and more! It is an all-purpose salve that can be used for a wide variety of skin conditions or as a protective balm on the skin.

Frankincense is a gum resin that has a rich history. It was a valuable incense and had nearly 5 times the demand that myrrh had. The scent is almost lemony, with lighter top notes. It was commonly used in temples as it was believed to heighten awareness and elevate thoughts. It was also once decreed by the Jews that only frankincense could be used for holy incense. It has rich medicinal benefits and has been used both internally and externally.

Chamomile flowers are known to be soothing and calming, offering healing support for chapped skin.

Calendula is known as a sunshine flower, supporting skin with antifungal properties, anti-inflammatory properties, and promoting wound healing. It has also traditionally been used to heal scars.

Lavender is known for its calming aroma and ability to also calm skin conditions, support burns, and help with inflammation. 

To use as a moisturizer: Apply a hydrosol first, or plain water. While the skin is still damp, apply the salve and gently massage it in to lock in the moisture.
