Some of our star hitters:

Chamomile: The flavanoids in chamomile react when exposed to the UV rays of the sun, beginning to break down melanin (the colour) in the hair, creating sunkissed strands.  As an added bonus, chamomile restores vibrancy and strengthens the hair!

Cinnamon: Cinnamon contains a natural version of hydrogen peroxide, cinnamaldehyde.  It can be combined with other hair lightening herbs to boost their effects.  As a bonus, it also stimulates hair growth! 

Aloe Vera: Aloe has been used traditionally to even skin pigmentation in manu cultures, but it doesn't just work for skin.  Aloin and aloesin, two compounds found in aloe vera, help to break down melanin in the hair and achieve lighter strands.  It also adds a lot of moisture to the hair, which is needed after a good sun sesh!

Lemon:  A natural source of citric acid, lemon juice interacts with the sun and "boosts" the lightening properties of other herbs, allowing the herbs to get deeper into the hair and lighten melanin pigments faster!

Lavender:  Lavender helps to nourish and condition the hair and scalp, along with adding shine and stimulating hair growth! 

Glycerin: As a natural emollient, glycerin can literally absorb humidity and moisture from the air and bring it into your hair as a natural moisturizing treatment while you just exist!

Keratin: Keratin compounds help improve the structure of the hair.  Keratin, moisture, and lipids is what work together to create a healthy hair strand.
