It was commonly used in temples as it was believed to heighten awareness and elevate thoughts. It was also once decreed by the Jews that only frankincense could be used for holy incense. It has rich medicinal benefits and has been used both internally and externally. Reishi is known as a supportive mushroom with compounds that support glowing skin.
