Description: This COFFEE based body scrub is combined with ground MESQUITE PODS from the Mesquite tree in the Sonoran Desert. We add a little SALT to the base to preserve freshness while providing a dry exfoliator with medium abrasion. Mixed into our dry ingredients are VITAMIN E (Mixed Tocopherols from Non-GMO Soy sources), 100% grass fed and finished TALLOW, and JOJOBA OIL to give this scrub an insanely soft and hydrating finish when you dry off. Most exfoliators leave your skin parched- NOT THIS ONE!

Ingredients: tallow, vitamin e oil, golden jojoba oil, organic faire trade coffee, sea salt, mesquite beans/pods

Directions: Apply to wet skin- face or body. Exfoliate in a gentle manner, or more rough- depending on how you like. Try to use this as the last step in your shower. If you use body wash, use it BEFORE you use the scrub.

Benefits:

TALLOW Pesticide Free, Chemical Free, and Hormone Free. Grass fed and finished, free range, Arizona cattle. High in vitamins A, D, K, E & B12. It is non comedogenic which means it won't clog your pores! It heals and prevents dryness at a cellular level. It is one of the most dense skin plumping emollients known. Tallow is antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory. It contains conjugated linolenic acid (CLA) which means it can heal multiple skin conditions!

VITAMIN E OIL - (Mixed Tocopherols from Non-GMO Soy sources) This oil is full of antioxidant properties which help reduce oxidative stress. Vitamin E is known for its subtle plumping properties, its ability to protect from sun damage, soothe irritation, and moisturize.

GOLDEN JOJOBA OIL - Made from the seed of the Jojoba plant, which is native to Arizona and California, Native Americans have been using this oil for generations. Its many benefits include: deep hydration and long lasting moisture, gentle and hypoallergenic. Jojoba oil is also noncomedogenic and easy rather than greasy. The makeup of jojoba is very similar to human skin oils; by applying jojoba oil you can trick the skin into thinking it has produced enough oil. This will balance oil production without causing acne or other skin issues. This oil is full of nutrients like Vitamin E and B, as well as antioxidants and minerals like chromium, copper, and zinc.

ORGANIC FAIR TRADE COFFEE - The caffeine and chlorogenic acids in coffee reduce inflammation and protect against UV damage. Coffee boosts blood circulation and can aid in the appearance of cellulite. It can also help brighten and reduce discoloration in the skin.

SEA SALT - Salt absorbs dirt and toxins to deeply cleanse pores. The mineral content helps restore the protective barrier in skin while helping it hold in hydration. Magnesium, potassium, and calcium are all skin friendly minerals that can be found in sea salt. It is being used in our scrub to preserve and keep your product fresh!

MESQUITE BEANS/PODS - Mesquite pods have been used for centuries as a natural remedy for skin care. The pods contain high levels of antioxidants and other beneficial compounds, including vitamins A, C, and E, and minerals like calcium and iron. These nutrients help to protect skin from damage, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and promote a healthy, glowing complexion.

In addition, mesquite pods contain compounds that have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce the redness and swelling associated with acne and other skin conditions. This makes the pods an ideal ingredient for those with sensitive or problematic skin.

Great for me + my husband

My husband and I both use this body scrub in the shower and love it. It feels like a nice way to wake your skin up (similar feeling to dry brushing) and it's worked well for me to avoid in-grown hairs in between shaves. I tend to use this before shaving and then again a few days later to make sure the freshly cut hairs are not growing back as in-grown hairs.
