Cellulose and Loofah Dish Sponge
Cellulose and Loofah Dish Sponge
Couldn't load pickup availability
Single biodegradable dish sponge made from plant cellulose and loofah. The loofah side allows for more rigorous cleaning, while the cellulose side of the sponge is gentle.
A generic plastic-based sponge takes approximately 52,000 years to decompose. This natural sponge is an easy eco-friendly kitchen swap--perfect for cleaning your dishes. Our powerful and compostable dual-action sponge is plant-based instead of plastic, but works like a conventional kitchen sponge.
- Free of all plastics, petrochemicals and other coatings
- Easy-to-sanitize - dishwasher safe and can be boiled
Our sponges are a great alternative to the synthetic sponge. They are made from 100% natural loofah and wood pulp. The sponges appear hard at first, however, once soaked in water they expand and soften.
Care & Use Instructions:
Use the same way as regular sponges. Rinse before & after use. Squeeze water out fully between uses.
Why we love?
I am the type of person to use 1-2 new sponges every single week. I despise when they get stinky and make your hands smell or residue cakes on that you feel like your dirtying your dishes more than cleaning them. I have used 1 one of these sponges for anywhere from 6-12 weeks! They didn't even smell at the end. No more excessive waste and no more plastic!! Soft enough for all dishes but tough enough to scrub food off. I always make sure to fully squeeze the water out so they can fully dry between uses!
